Dr. Mikayla Jansen, PT, DPT

Dr. Jansen is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a passion for helping outdoor athletes stay strong, injury-free, and performing at their best. She specializes in virtual physical therapy, injury rehab, and strength training programs tailored to the unique demands of mountain bikers and skiers.​An athlete at heart, Dr. Jansen knows firsthand the frustration of injuries and the challenges of recovery.
Her own experiences as a collegiate and recreational athlete inspired her to become a physical therapist, turning her love for movement and outdoor adventure into a career dedicated to helping others move better, feel stronger, and stay active for life.​
Today, she combines evidence-based rehab strategies with performance coaching to help clients unlock their potential — whether chasing powder days, crushing singletrack, or preparing for their next big adventure.
Approach to Care
During your first visit, your physical therapist will take the time to understand your story — your sport, training background, injury history, and current limitations. A collaborative plan will be developed, centered around your lifestyle, goals, and the specific demands of your athletic pursuits. You will receive one-on-one, uninterrupted care and leave the session with a clear understanding of your condition and the next steps forward.

Your rehabilitation or strength training plan will be evidence-based, customized to your learning style, and designed to equip you with strategies to navigate your physical challenges with greater confidence and resilience. The goal is to help you return to the outdoor activities you love while reducing risk of re-injury and improving overall performance.

A variety of visit times and package options are available, allowing you to choose the schedule and frequency that best support your needs. Your physical therapist remains accessible by email between sessions to provide ongoing support, answer questions, and adjust your plan as needed.
